The AP-2000 (with Lucent/Agere/Proxim's firmware) can function as a 802.11b access point using an ORiNOCO PC Card or ORiNOCO PC Card (Ruby), an 802.11bg access point using a Proxim 8800-FC, and an 802.11a access point using an Agere PC50E-8-FC/A.
