From my dissected unit...

  • This device is using a Freescale i.MX335.
  • The 6" E-Ink display is a LG 6841L-0057B (LB060S01-RD FPC VER 2.0, designed 2009.04.17) (on cable, for cable only?) / LB060S01-RD02 (on sticker).
  • The battery used with the unit is a H503456 (Li-Poly, 1000mAh, "HC T0076 10F25" is also on the thing).
  • The system firmware is stored solely on a easily removable microSD card.
    • The device is running Linux 2.6.28 (vermagic: 2.6.28-515-g4eec389 preempt mod_unload modversions ARMv6).
    • Modules sd8686.ko (88W8686 [SD8686] Wi-Fi driver), epson_mod.ko (Epson s1d13521 controller framebuffer driver), arcotg_udc.ko (ARC USBOTG device controller driver), and g_file_storage.ko (File-backed Storage Gadget) are included.
