Premium Performance Gigabit Wi-Fi Wave 2 Access Point
The datasheet seems to claim 802.11ac support at 2.4GHz with proprietary clients saying, "2.4GHz: 4x4:4 802.11b/g/n/ac up to 800 Mbps data rate. 802.11ac for VHT capable Proprietary clients."
Mist calls this a tri-radio device which refers to the fact that it has three radios. The third radio is used for "2.4 GHz & 5 GHz dual-band WIDS/WIPS, spectrum analysis & location analytics," not for clients. The ID of the chip used in this scanning radio is not legible in FCC photos nor is it mentioned in the documents. BCM43162 is a guess.
The CPU ID is not clearly legible in the FCC internal photos but it strongly resembles the Broadcom BCM58535 in the Cisco WAP581 and is presumed to be one of the Northstar Plus models.
